MORE ABOUT ME

Isabella aka Izzy
She seems to respond better if you make believe she is Italian and roll the L’s! What a diva this girl is! She is such an amazing girl I can’t begin to tell you how happy she makes a room when she strolls in. She is always happy and LOVES children and the activity they put on around her. I am not sure how she would be with babies since we don’t have any, but she has been awesome with those over 5 years old.
Cats seem to confuse her and she goes into investigative mode when one of ours comes into her area. (since she free roams the entire house this can happen many times a day) She gets along famously with all of our dogs except the one boy that is smaller than her.
She loves to be petted and spend the day laying at my feet while I work. She is working on her potty habits, but those should come along once she is over the bladder infection and learns where the heck she is. Learning new doors can sometimes be difficult for even the best of us! She is good with stairs and watching her go down them will make you sing... a slinky a slinky for fun she’s a wonderful dog... you get the picture?
She loves to go outside and take short walks, car rides are a new love and she gets all excited when she knows she gets to go somewhere, no matter what the mode of transportation.
I am still unsure of how well she sees or hears. Since the pre-surgery medication I think her eyes have gotten better and she could just be ignoring me when I talk to her! She responds to clapping hands really well, but then she can hear the pantry door open from across the room so I will have to get back to you on this one!
Today she had entropian surgery and is walking around with a cone on her head that is wider than she is tall, this is interesting to watch but if it makes her see better we are in great shape! She has some dry eye, it seems she had a cherry eye removal instead of repair and is one of those bullies that will need dry eye meds for the rest of her life. She is in need of a few less pounds, but we are working on that and it is coming off quite nicely.
Keep an eye on her blog and I will keep you updated on as she recovers!
Bully Blessings,
Mickie
